Romance can make someone an optimist to a cynic within two hours. The first touch, kissy, and huggy can make us feel seen. Romance is a drug. Sometimes it ping pongs, confuses us, and we’re left alone. Oxytocin withdrawals are real as we swear we’ll never love again. Once we heal, we realize it’s all intel for our own self-romance and end up learning about ourselves. Then we love again.
